PhD are guilty of manufacturing data for satisfying their bosses

If you can't get the data as your so called stupid mentor wants for the publication you will be expelled from the school. I know one foreign graduate student got all data as his advisor wants. So, his advisor from Vietnam gave her good recommendation. I do not beleive her data at all. gradauate study is nonsene. Researchers are wasting tax payers' money.
